Fulcrum Consultants is part of Fulcrum Training Ltd. a Company established in Dublin, Ireland. Fulcrum was originally a division of the GD Group, Dublin, a Group of Companies involved in the Fire Industry for more than 60 years. As the activities of the Group become increasingly International during the early 1990s, Fulcrum Consultants was formed to cater for the more specialised and wider needs of GD's Customers in the Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Aviation and Chemical Sectors.

In January 2001, Fulcrum Consultants was invited to become the Secretariat for JOIFF, the Organisation for Emergency Services Management. Since then, Fulcrum has worked with JOIFF to grow the Organisation and to develop a range of Training Courses, Programmes and other Standards.

In 2005, Fulcrum Consultants became independent of the GD Group and it continues to develop under its founder management to the highest standards and latest available knowledge.

Fulcrum Consultants is an approved Assessment Centre for Edexcel and offers an assessment and verification service for the United Kingdom Fire Sector National Vocational Qualifications.

Management of Fulcrum Consultants are on relevant Policy-making Bodies and by consultation, ensure that the wider Fire Industry has inputs into policy-making decisions.
